Stay Productive On-the-Go With the Samsung Galaxy Note 4

Business never stops. Whether I’m at the office or on the road, I need to stay connected and respond quickly to requests to help my team stay productive. I usually have my laptop with me, but it’s not always convenient to open it and log in to work – especially when you are crammed in a crowded train or airplane. After testing out the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, I’ve found it to be a versatile alternative that allows me to keep working from anywhere.

In a previous post, I discussed how new enhancements introduced with the Note 4 have made it easier to organize notes. With an improved writing experience with the redesigned S Pen™, I can easily draw a line around areas on my screen that I want to save with the new Smart Select feature, and convert paper notes into a usable electronic format with Snap Note.

Here are a few ways that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has helped me be more productive in and out of the office.

Make impactful presentations from anywhere with an improved screen
The latest model in the Note family maintains the product line’s iconic large size with a 5.7” Quad HD Super AMOLED® display. With a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, images are crisp and clear from most viewing angles, and the colours are vivid. I’ve found it to be perfect for presenting slides on the phone at meetings – in the office or offsite. And with the S Pen and Smart Select, I can instantly highlight and make notes of the feedback I receive as I run through my presentations on screen.

My colleagues in the sales department tell me that they often use their Note devices when meeting with prospective clients. Not only is the large screen great for displaying key information, the sleek and stylish design of the phone leaves a lasting impression – now featuring a premium metal frame.

Review documents and collaborate with your team instantly
In my job, I often have to review creative layouts while I’m on-the-go. Whether I’m sitting on a bus commuting to and from the office, or out on a coffee run, I can receive files through email or file sharing apps, and open them up on a large screen.

With the Note 4, it’s easy to scroll through proofs and mark up my comments with the S Pen, and instantly send feedback to my team to keep projects moving. I use Smart Select to highlight specific sections where I have concerns, then use the S Pen to add my copy suggestions. The large screen also makes it possible for me to review and compare layouts side-by-side with multi window capabilities.

Also, when I’m brainstorming ideas on paper, I use Snap Note to capture my ideas digitally and share them with my team.

Power productivity with improved battery charging
One drawback with mobile devices like the Note, is that it takes a lot of power to light large screens and battery life may not be optimal. But with the Note 4, Samsung has improved battery charging time. I was able to charge the smartphone halfway fairly quickly – very handy, especially if you only have a little time, like while waiting for a flight at the airport.

The bottom line
Overall, I think the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is a great productivity tool, especially when you need to respond quickly and logging into your laptop instead is not possible or ideal.
